My Story

I'm Oriana, and I am so glad you're here.
Life has a way of leading us down unexpected paths, doesn’t it? As a young girl and into my early twenties, my world revolved around the performing arts—I lived and breathed singing, dancing, and acting, pursuing my dream of becoming a professional musical theatre performer. But, as they say, life can change in an instant. For me, that moment came at 23, when a car accident turned my world upside down.
At the time of the accident, I was already studying Pilates and working toward becoming a practitioner. Pilates was something I had always been passionate about, but the accident gave it an even deeper meaning in my life. During my rehabilitation, Pilates wasn’t just a form of physical recovery—it became a way to reconnect with my body and rebuild strength, balance, and resilience during a challenging and uncertain time.
Fast forward over two decades, and I’ve had the privilege of guiding others through their own Pilates journeys, watching them transform not just physically but mentally and emotionally. I’ve always been drawn to mindfulness and spirituality, and over time, I found that my Pilates practice naturally began to merge with my passion for emotional well-being. My clients often came to me for more than just physical guidance—they were seeking emotional support, too.
Then, four years ago, I injured my back. As a Pilates practitioner, this was more than just a physical setback—it made me question the longevity of my career. But, as with every challenge, it brought an opportunity. This experience led me to pursue a Diploma in Counselling, allowing me to formally combine the emotional support I had been providing with the physical practice I love.
Now, I’m deeply passionate about exploring the connection between mind and body. I believe that our emotional states profoundly impact our physical well-being. Whether you’re dealing with grief, anxiety, or trauma, addressing both the mental and physical aspects of your experience can lead to powerful, lasting change.
These beliefs aren’t just professional—they’re personal. I’ve walked through grief and watched addiction affect a family member, feeling the weight of those struggles in both my mind and body. These experiences fuel my empathy and my dedication to helping others navigate their own emotional landscapes.
I pride myself on using visualisation and mindfulness techniques to help clients become more in tune with their bodies. Whether you’re looking to improve your physical health, seeking emotional support, or wanting to combine both, I’m here to guide you. Together, we’ll work to restore balance to your body, mind, and spirit.
